THOMAS, Terry Dean -- Terry Dean THOMAS, 53, of Sacramento, Calif., son of Carolyn TALLEY of Fairfield, died Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at University of California Davis Medical Center in Sacramento.

THOMAS, Terry Dean -- Terry Dean THOMAS, 53, of Sacramento, Calif., died Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at University of California Davis Medical Center.
A graveside memorial service will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Friends Cemetery in Richland, with the Rev. Jim McGaffey officiating.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice and sent to 200 Wilson Blvd., Fairfield 52556.

Mr. THOMAS was born Nov. 20, 1956, in Fairfield, the son of Richard and Carolyn DOWNING THOMAS.
Mr. THOMAS was raised in Fairfield and graduated from Fairfield High School in 1975. After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army, becoming a sergeant and serving two years in Germany. He then moved to Florida, where he worked construction and later started his own business specializing in custom cabinets and furniture. Due to health reasons, he retired and moved to California.
Mr. THOMAS enjoyed all sports; his favorite teams included the Chicago Cubs, Miami Dolphins and Boston Celtics. He enjoyed warm weather for cooking outside and fishing with his son in ponds on the family farm. He also enjoyed visiting family and friends during the holidays.
Survivors include his mother, Carolyn TALLEY of Fairfield; one daughter, Mandy RICCO and husband Tony of Monmouth, Ill.; one son, Kristopher THOMAS of Tacoma, Wash.; two grandchildren; one brother, Jeffrey THOMAS of Lockridge; two sisters, Rhonda NEELEY of Cloverdale, Calif., and Jacqueline POARCH of Petaluma, Calif.; and two stepsisters, Sheryl MUHS and Lorri WOLF.
He was preceded in death by his father; his stepfather, Max TALLEY; and his grandparents, James and Madeline LANE and Lester and Irene DOWNING.
