KIBBE, Judy Kay -- Judy Kay KIBBE, 46, of Burlington, formerly of Fairfield, died Friday, March 19, 2010, from cancer.

A memorial service will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Lunning Chapel in Mount Pleasant, with the Rev. Randall Gearhart officiating. The body has been cremated. Burial will be at a later date in Denmark Cemetery.

Family visitation will be from 12:30-2:30 p.m. Saturday at the chapel.

Memorials have been established to Hope Haven and Great River Hospice.

Miss KIBBE was born Feb. 20, 1964, in Fairfield, the daughter of Richard and Helen CLOKE KIBBE.

Miss KIBBE was a homemaker. She was a 1982 graduate of Glenwood High School in Glenwood.

Miss KIBBE was of the Christian faith.

She enjoyed fishing. She also liked cats and her animals.

Survivors include one son, Jason KIBBE and wife Amber of Mission, Texas; her mother and stepfather, Louis and Helen WALKER of Mission, Texas; two brothers, Jeff WALKER of Italy and Robert KIBBE of Mount Pleasant; and one sister, Lisa WALKER GARZA of La Joya, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents.
