INGLE, Evelyn Ruth -- Evelyn Ruth INGLE, 81, of Ollie, died Saturday, March 13, 2010, at Sigourney Care Center in Sigourney.

A funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Ollie Baptist Church, with the Rev. Carla Nelson officiating. Burial will be in Rock Creek Cemetery near Ollie.

Visitation will begin at noon Tuesday at Fremont Funeral Chapel in Fremont, with the family present from 5-7 p.m. and an Order of the Eastern Star service at 7 p.m.

Memorials may be made to Ollie Baptist Church or Sigourney Care Center.

Mrs. INGLE was born Jan. 10, 1929, in Delta, the daughter of Howard and Lela ROBERTS SHIPLEY. She married Leland "Dale" INGLE April 18, 1948, in Delta.

Mrs. INGLE graduated from Delta High School in 1946. She was a homemaker.

She was a member of Ollie Baptist Church and Order of the Eastern Star Chapter No. 549 of Ollie.

Mrs. INGLE enjoyed baking cakes, caring for her family, fishing, cooking and visiting with others on a citizens band radio with the handle "Catfish Kitty."

Survivors include her husband; three sons, Jim INGLE and wife Ruth Ann of West Des Moines, Jack INGLE and wife Dondra of Ollie and Marty INGLE and wife Tracy of Ottumwa; six grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and one sister.
