HUMMELL, Wilbur Guy -- Wilbur Guy HUMMELL, 81, of Festus, Mo., died Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010, at his son's residence in Festus.

Arrangements for a memorial service are pending.

Memorials may be made to Hematite United Methodist Church, in care of Larry LaRose, 2077 Sunnyside Road, Festus, Mo.

Mr. HUMMELL was born Aug. 15, 1928, in Hillsboro, the son of Guy and Jeneva LYON HUMMELL.

Mr. HUMMELL retired as a maintenance engineer from Union Electric.

Survivors include his wife, Zella "Sandy" STORY HUMMELL; three sons, Larry HUMMELL and wife Debra of DeSoto, Mo., Jerry HUMMELL and wife Melissa of Festus and Ron HUMMELL and wife Roxanne of Festus; three daughters, Connie HARTMAN and husband Paul of Imperial, Mo., Charlene BRADFORD and husband Jim of Festus and Carla and husband Larry KENNEDY of Barnhart, Mo.; one brother, Arlo HUMMELL of Grant's Pass, Ore.; one sister, Donna Jean PARKS of Cedar Rapids; 23 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
