BROWN, Mildred -- Mildred BROWN of Cedar Rapids died Thursday afternoon, March 4, 2010, in Cedar Rapids.
A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Maple Hill Cemetery in Birmingham.
Family visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at Raymond Funeral Home in Birmingham.

Mildred Fern CRAFTON BROWN, age 90, formerly of Birmingham and Burlington, died Thursday, March 4, 2010 at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids.
Born Nov. 10, 1919 at Birmingham to Walter Samuel and Bertha Ellen PICKERELL CRAFTON. Mildred grew up in Birmingham and graduated from Birmingham High School.
She married Leonard E. BROWN on May 23, 1959 at Moline, Illinois.
They lived in the Burlington community for several years. He preceded her in death on March 26, 2006. She later moved to Cedar Rapids.
She loved gardening, doing puzzle books, feeding wild life, and taking care of her feathered friend, Sammy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter, Patricia WILLIAMS, 7 brothers and sisters and her feline companion, Suzie.
Surviving are two grandsons, Rick NUTZ of Cedar Rapids and Lance HEATER of Martinsville, VA; one granddaughter, Katrina COLEMAN of Hartford, Arkansas, one son, Lance HEATER of Winslow, Arkansas, special friend, Angie Ray of Burlington; one brother, Leonard CRAFTON of Birmingham; two sisters, Marilyn RETTIG of Augusta, IA and Idora CRAFTON of Keosauqua; plus several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Graveside funeral servces and interment were held Monday, March 8, 2010 at Maple Hill Cem. Raymond Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
