MARTIN, Betsy Ann -- Betsy Ann MARTIN, 86, of Fairfield, died Monday, Feb. 15, 2010.

Mrs. MARTIN requested there be no memorials and no service. Her cremains will be buried at a later date.

Mrs. MARTIN was born Dec. 3, 1923, in New Orleans, La., the daughter of Ella Gatlin and Alexander McKay FAIRLY. She married Walter P. MARTIN May 9, 1942, in Mississippi.

Mrs. MARTIN was a homemaker all her life.

She was a member of the Presbyterian church.

She enjoyed traveling with her husband.

Survivors include two daughters, Mary Ann CAUSEY and husband Hugh and Betty J. SPROUSE, all of Bowling Green, Ky.; one son, Walter R. MARTIN and wife Magda OTT of Fairfield; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, A.T. and Mac FAIRLY; and one son, William P. MARTIN.
