Mrs. Jack BLAKELEY, resident of Fairfield for the past 24 years, passed away last night about 7 p.m. at the Jefferson county hospital. She had been seriously ill for the past several months.
Last rites will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Weston Behner funeral home with the Rev. S. P. Williamson in charge. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Mrs. Jack BLAKELEY, 61, was born April 9, 1891, at Powersville, Mo., the daughter of the late Lewis and Jane CAMPBELL WATSON. She was united in marriage on Sept. 12, 1922 to Jack BLAKELEY who survives. The wedding took place at Hot Springs, S. D.
Mr. and Mrs. BLAKELEY moved to Fairfield 24 years ago and have made their home in this community since. The family home is located at 709 W. Kirkwood street.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two children, Mrs. Adrian RICHARDSON, Fairfield, and Jack BLAKELEY Jr., of Winfield. She is also survived by two grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and the following brothers and sisters: Fred WATSON, Allerton, Harry WATSON, Newcastle, Wyo.; Mrs. A. E. DRAPER, Osage, Wyo., and Mrs. Frank LYNCH, Lineville, IA. Mrs. BLAKELEY was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and one sister.
