JOHNSON, Clair Monroe -- Clair Monroe JOHNSON, age 80 passed away on December 20th, 2009 at his home in Maharishi Vedic City.

Clair was born on January 29th, 1929 in Newcastle, Nebraska to Gladys and Arnold JOHNSON. In 1939 he moved with his family to the San Francisco Bay Area, was married in 1948 to his wife Mary, and had a successful career as a home builder and later in the furniture and floor covering business. After retirement Clair and Mary moved to Vedic City where he was instrumental in the concept and development of the Rukmapura Park Hotel and the Padmavani Lakes and Mandala6 developments.

Clair is survived by his wife Mary, grandson Robert, grandson Christopher and his wife Tina, great granddaughter Phoenix, granddaughter Hillary, great grandsons Orion and Forest, granddaughter Madeline, son Chris and his wife Dee, son Matthew and his wife Tamara, brother Bill and sister Joyce.

The JOHNSON Family is holding a private service for Clair.
