SUTTON, Alberta V. -- Alberta V. (FISHER) SUTTON, 99 of Springfield, MO passed away Wednesday December 2, 2009 in the Gardens Assisted Living, Springfield, MO.

She was a member of Brentwood Christian Church, Springfield, MO.

Alberta was preceded in death by her husband William A. SUTTON, mother Edna FISHER, father Bert FISHER, grandson Steven SUTTON, three sisters Gertrude HOWELL, Winifred CAHILL, and Yvonne HALE, and two brothers Bill FISHER and Buzz FISHER.

She is survived by her daughter Jane METCALF, her husband Dr. Gary, Springfield, MO; three sons Dr. Terry SUTTON, his wife Nancy, of Austin, TX; Mr. Tony SUTTON, his wife Sue, of Tipp City, OH; and Dr. Bob SUTTON, his wife Kathy of Lake Mary, FL; 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Friday, December 4, 2009, in Brentwood Christian Church, Springfield, MO with Dr. Phil Snider officiating, under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel. Visitation will be from 10 AM until service time Friday in the church.

Graveside services will be held at 10 AM Saturday, December 5, 2009 in Oak View Cemetery, Albia, Iowa.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Brentwood Christian Church, Springfield, MO.
