CLUBB, Roger L. -- Roger L. CLUBB, 82, of rural Douds, died at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20, 2009, at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds, with the Rev. Phil Campbell officiating. Burial of cremains will be at a later date.
Family visitation will be from 2-3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorials to Van Buren County Hospital may be left at the funeral home or may be mailed to the family at 13157 120th St., Douds 52551.
Mr. CLUBB was born July 28, 1927, in Keokuk County, the son of Peter and Elizabeth CLARK CLUBB. He married Pauline EAKINS Dec. 26, 1955, in Oskaloosa.
Mr. CLUBB farmed in Van Buren County and operated a maintainer for the Van Buren County Secondary Roads Department until retiring in 1988.
He enjoyed camping and hunting with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Duane CLUBB and wife Teri of Stockport and Darrell CLUBB and wife Cathy of Keosauqua; three grandchildren; one brother, Larry CLUBB of South English; three sisters, Joan GRIMM of What Cheer, Peggy DERBY of Richland and Doris OWINGS of DeWitt.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one infant son, Michael CLUBB; four brothers, Russell, Rodney, Forrest and Gordan CLUBB; and two sisters, Allegra COONEY and Margaret TEETER.
