WM. BURKHART FUNERAL HERE

Body of Former Resident Will Arrive Tomorrow From Pembine, Wis.

William G. BURKHART, well known former Jefferson county farmer and a cousin of Charles GAGE of this city, passed away Sunday morning at his home in Pembine, Wis., according to word received here this morning.

The body will arrive in Fairfield on No. 9 tomorow (sic. tomorrow) and funeral arrangements will be announced later.

Mr. BURKHART took office as County Auditor in Jefferson county twenty years ago and by a recount of votes he was displaced by the Democrats. He later removed to Pembine, Wis., where he has since made his home.

He is survived by his wife and four children.

BURKHART FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS ARE NOT YET COMPLETE

No word has as yet been received by relatives here as to the funeral arrangements for the late William G. BURKHART of Pembine, Wis., who will be buried here.

Charles GAGE and other relatives here expect word soon as to the arrangements made by the family. In the notice of Mr. BURKHART's death, published yesterday, an unauthorized and incorrect statement was made to the effect that Mr. BURKHART's wife survives. Mrs. BURKHART died several years ago.

Married Blanche Eleanor LAUGHLIN on December 15, 1887. Children: Mary Rhoda (WEBB, 1888-1948) and George Harvey (1890-1942).

Married Mary E. LAMME on September 23, 1896. Children: Helen.

Married Anna Belle SANDS on March 5, 1908. Children: Charles Wm., Ruth, Grace.

Note: William George BURKHART is buried at Evergreen Cemetery, Plot: Old.P.088
