Marjorie LIGHT rites pending

Service for Mrs. George LIGHT, 89, are pending at the Raymond Funeral Home. She died at 3:20 a.m. today at the Nelson Nursing Home where she had been a patient since December, 1972.

Marjorie E. LIGHT was born March 3, 1893, in Quincy, Ill., the daughter of Hedly John and Agnes MILLER EATON.

She was reared and educated in Quincy, graduated from the Quincy High School, attended Illinois Women's College at Jacksonville for two years, and studied music for two years at the Quincy College of Music.

She was married Oct. 19, 1919 (sic. the obituary for George N. LIGHT gives the date as Oct. 18, 1919), to George LIGHT at Quincy, after which they moved to Fairfield. She has made her home in Fairfield since. Her husband died Feb. 6, 1970. Mrs. LIGHT was a member of the Congregational Church, DAR and the Eastern Star.

Mrs. LIGHT is survived by a brother, Charles EATON, Quincy, Ill. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
