Life Long Resident of County Dies

Miss Kate LIGHT passed away at her home late yesterday.

Miss Kate LIGHT, life-long resident of Jefferson county, passed away at her home , 401 North Court street at 3:30 p.m. Monday. She had been in poor health for some time. Catherine LIGHT was born August 31, 1866. She spent her entire life in this community.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Hoskins funeral home in charge of Dr. William R. Yingling. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

She is survived by one sister, Mrs. A.R. BETZ, Fox Island, Sylvan, Wash.; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Frank LIGHT; and 12 nephews and nieces, including George LIGHT, of Fairfield, and Miss Florence LIGHT, Ottumwa.
