Florence LIGHT FLINSPACH, 80, was found dead Saturday at 5:20 p.m. at her home at 403 N. Court.
Behner Funeral Home took her body to the University of Iowa Medical School where it was donated.
She was born Aug. 13, 1898 in Fairfield the daughter of Frank and Laura MOYER LIGHT.
On May 27, 1955, she was married to Wade W. FLINSPACH. He died on Dec. 15, 1972.
She is survived by one sister, Laura FERREL, Indianapolis, Ind., one step-son, Frederic FLINSPACH, Route 4 and four grandchildren.
Mrs. FLINSPACH graduated from Parsons College and received her master's degree in home economics from Iowa State University in 1923. She was a teacher.
She was a 60-year member of Chapter C, PEO and a member of the First United Presbyterian Church.

Note: The obituary indicated that the body was donated to the UIMS. The LIGHT family monument has an inscription for Florence (Evergreen Cemetery, Old.P.270), but it isn't clear if she was later buried in this plot. There isn't an individual marker with her name on it within the plot as do the other family members buried within even with inscriptions listed on the tall main family monument.Wade FLINSPACH is buried in 4th.045 at Evergreen Cemetery with his first wife Mary.

TO ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN THE ESTATE OF FLORENCE LIGHT FLINSPACH, DECEASED:
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED THAT ON THE 20TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 1978, THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF FLORENCE LIGHT FLINSPACH, DECEASED, BEARING DATE OF THE 27TH DAY OF JULY, 1978, WAS ADMITTED TO PROBATE IN THE ABOVE NAMED COURT AND THAT LAURA LIGHT FERREL WAS APPOINTED EXECUTOR OF SAID ESTATE.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN THAT ANY ACTION TO SET ASIDE SAID WILL MUST BE BROUGHT IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF SAID COUNTY WITHIN SIX MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF THE SECOND PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE, OR THEREAFTER BE FOREVER BARRED.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN THAT ALL PERSONS INDEBTED TO SAID ESTATE ARE REQUESTED TO MAKE IMMEDIATE PAYMENT TO THE UNDERSIGNED, AND CREDITORS HAVING CLAIMS AGAINST SAID ESTATE SHALL FILE THEM WITH THE CLERK OF THE ABOVE NAMED DISTRICT COURT, AS PROVIDED BY LAW, DULY AUTHENTICATED, FOR ALLOWANCE; AND UNLESS SO FILED WITHIN SIX MONTHS FROM THE SECOND PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE (UNLESS OTHERWISE ALLOWED OR PAID) SUCH CLAIM SHALL THEREAFTER BE FOREVER BARRED.
