MRS. C. M. CARPENTER DIED THIS MORNING

Mrs. C. M. CARPENTER, wife of Dr. C. M. CARPENTER (sic. Marcellus C. CARPENTER) died this morning after a short illness from a complication of diseases. Funeral arrangements have not as yet been made.

Mrs. CARPENTER was the daughter of Matthew J. and Martha JUNKIN and was born January 6, 1861 and grew to womanhood in Fairfield. March 23, 1886 she was united in marriage with Dr. C.M. CARPENTER who survives her. It is probable that the funeral service will be held tomorrow.

Note: Margaret JUNKIN CARPENTER was originally interred in the Fairfield Abbey Mausoleum. When it was closed in the mid-1960's she was reinterred in Evergreen Cemetery in 2nd.256-1/2.

The funeral of Mrs. M. C. CARPENTER will be held tomorrow from the CARPENTER residence, 303 South Main street. The service will be held at 10 a.m. and will be in charge of Dr. H. A. Mosser.
