CAMPBELL, Keith Arden -- Keith Arden CAMPBELL, 81, of Fairfield, died Thursday, Oct. 22, 2009, at Mercy Hospital Hospice in Iowa City.

A funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church in Fairfield, with the Rev. Jim Wotherspoon officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Visitation, with the family, will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Memorials may be made to Mercy Hospital Hospice or First Baptist Church. Memorials and cards to the family may be sent to 1007 S. Main St., Fairfield 52556.

Mr. CAMPBELL was born Jan. 4, 1928, in Mount Sterling, the son of Ernest and Lela BELL CAMPBELL. He married Eva WYATT June 8, 1946, in Bay St. Louis, Miss.

Mr. CAMPBELL attended Fairfield High School. He was a foundry worker for Fairfield Aluminum Castings Co. in Fairfield for 33 years.

Mr. CAMPBELL served in the Merchant Marines and the United States Army Air Corps during World War II.

He was a member of the American Legion and Fairfield Eagles Club No. 1927.

Survivors include his wife; one son, Jerry CAMPBELL of Des Moines; and seven siblings, Anna LUNDGREN of Santa Rosa, Calif., David CAMPBELL of Grimes, Dick CAMPBELL of Eldon, Mike CAMPBELL of Fairfield, Norman CAMPBELL of Spokane, Wash., Danny CAMPBELL of Fairfield and Kay COSTELLO of Des Moines.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by thee children, Sandra CAMPBELL, Dustin CAMPBELL and Joann CAMPBELL; and one sister, Sara CAMPBELL.
