Page Six, Column 3MRS. STEVEN WRIGHT DIED AT 8 OCLOCK
Mrs. Steven WRIGHT (sic. a/k/a Stephen) died this morning about 8 oclock at her home in West End addition. She has been ill the past year with dropsy. Funeral arrangements have not as yet been completed, but they will be sometime Monday in charge of Ray Nay, Baptist minister in Cedar Falls. Interment will be in Evergreen (sic).
Mary E. SHELTON was born October 28, 1861 near Wayland in Henry county and came to Fairfield with her parents when she was a small child.
She was married to Steven A. WRIGHT, August 11, 1891. She is survived by her husband and two children, Mrs. Martha LANGFORD of Goldfield, Iowa and Alvie of Lockridge.

Note: The obituary indicated burial was to be in Evergreen Cemetery (Fairfield). The family likely changed plans or this first information was incorrect as she was buried in Wright Cemetery seven miles SE of Fairfield. Shares a joint headstone with husband Stephen WRIGHT and child Jessye A WRIGHT.

Front Page, Column 4WRIGHT FUNERAL HELD THIS AFTERNOON
The funeral services for Mrs. Steven WRIGHT, who died Saturday morning at 8 oclock at her home in West End addition, were held this afternoon at 2 oclock from the Free Methodist church in charge of Rev. H. Nay of the Cedar Falls Baptist church. Interment was made at the Wright cemetery.
