Thursday Rites For Dr. PARSONS

Fairfield rites are planned for Dr. Glenn W. PARSONS, 47, former local resident, who was killed Sunday night in the crash of a Capital Airlines Viscount plane at Midland, Mich.

Services will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at the Weston Behner Funderal home in charge of Dr. C. R. Douglass. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Dr. PARSONS was a resident of Upper Montclair, N.J. He recently accepted a position with the Dow Chemical Co. at Midland and was flying there after spending Easter with his family. The body will arrive in Fairfield Wednesday.

Dr. PARSONS was a native of Fairfield, graduating from Fairfield high school and Parsons college. He also held degrees from Western Reserve and New York universities.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara, and two daughters, Linda 12, and Diana, 9. Other survivors include his father, Will G. PARSONS, St. Petersburg, Fla.; three brothers, Monte PARSONS, Burlington, Milford and Wesley PARSONS, Fairfield; and one sister, Mrs. Don COWEN, Oak Ridge, Tenn.
