SIBLEY, Cheryl Lee -- Cheryl Lee SIBLEY, 61, of Fairfield, died Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2009, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

No service is planned at this time. The body will be cremated.

Mrs. SIBLEY was born Nov. 8, 1947, in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of Kenneth E. and Leila KUTCHER SEYMOUR. She married Chuck SIBLEY April 17, 1970, in Toledo.

Mrs. SIBLEY has lived in the Fairfield area since 2001. She was the head cook at the Fairfield Senior Citizen Center.

Mrs. SIBLEY enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include her husband; mother, Leila MLYNAREK of Fairfield; four children, Patricia PHILLIPS-STEIGERWALD and husband Travis of Fairfield, Matthew SIBLEY and wife Jamie of Burlington, Maggie CARLTON and husband Scott of Las Vegas, Nev., and David SIBLEY and wife Joelene of Peoria, Ill.; eight grandchildren; and four siblings, Gail HONISKO of Toledo, Ohio, John SEYMOUR of Dundee, Mich., Patricia WILLIAMS of Delta, Ohio, and David SEYMOUR of Jacksonville, Fla.

She was preceded in death by her father.
