Charles TULLER, retired farmer, passed away Sunday at 11:30 p.m. Sunday at the Kirk Nursing home in Agency where he had been a patient for the past 1 1/2 years. His former home was at 808 S. Third street.
TULLER had been in failing health for the past four years and seriously ill the past six months.
Last rites have been tentatively set for 2:30 p.m. CDT, at the Raymond funeral home with the Rev. Allen Anderson in charge. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Charles TULLER, 84, was born Nov. 8, 1876, in Jefferson county, the son of Edwin and Adaline Elizabeth SEARS TULLER. He was reared and educated in Jefferson county.
He was married July 3, 1897, at Fairfield to Mary Elizabeth STANSELL. TULLER was a retired farmer and a member of the Methodist church. His wife passed away Oct. 23, 1951.
Survivors include the following children: Harry, Oak Grove, Mo.; Mrs. Adalene TOPE, Eagle Bend, Minn.; Orval E., Des Moines; Lloyd, Festers, Mo.; Elbert, Kansas City, Mo.; Everett, Baton Rouge, La.; Irene PATTESON, The Dalles, Ore.; Mrs. Viola FRAKES, Fairfield; Kenneth, Ottumwa; Ruth EBERLY, New Lebanon, Ohio; Inez JOHNSON, Peoria, Ill.; Harold, Auburn, Washington.
Other survivors include 37 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Mary DUNSWORTH, Yakima, Wash., and Mrs. Bertha PARROTT, Birmingham, Ala.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, three brothers, two sisters and three grandchildren.
