Funeral Service Will Be Held Thursday at First Methodist Church
Mrs. Louis EASTON died last evening at 6:25 oclock at the Jefferson County hospital where she has been the past few weeks suffering with heart trouble and complications. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 oclock at the First Methodist church followed by short services at the Antioch church with burial in Antioch cemetery. Dr. U.S. Smith and Rev. W.H. Slack, pastor of the Libertyville Methodist church will be in charge of the services.
Mrs. EASTON was born in Jefferson county in January 1862 and with the exception of one winter in California, has spent her entire life in this community. She has been in ill health since 1918. Besides her husband, and mother Mrs. W. H. COOP of San Francisco she is survived by the following children: Mrs. Frank BLACK, Miss Clarinda EASTON, Charles EASTON, William EASTON of Los Angeles; Ada at home and Mrs. Charles SLATTERY of this city. Three sisters and two brothers also survive, Mrs. John TAYLOR and Lee COOP of Los Angeles, Mrs. May GUMMA of Denver, Mrs. W.L.WILKINS of San Francisco and Frank COOP of this city.
