Transcriber note:

Although the obituary uses the first name "Harriet", the headstone at Burge Cemetery uses the spelling of "Harriett". Evidently she was buried at Burge Cemetery in New London, Henry County, Iowa where her daughter Gladys McCABE is also buried.

B.T. (Benjamin Thomas) RAINS is buried at Evergreen Cemetery, Fairfield, Iowa in 3rd Addition, Lot 025. With him are his first wife, Mary C McCUNE and several children from that first marriage.
