"LOUIS NADY'S FUNERAL TO BE HERE TUESDAY

Well Known Jefferson County Farmer Dies Early Sunday

Louis NADY, well known Jefferson county farmer, died at 1:10 a.m. Sunday at the Jefferson county hospital after having been in poor health for about a year and a half. He had recently undergone treatment at the University hospital in Iowa City.

The funeral services will be held tomorrow at the St. Mary's Catholic church in Fairfield, at 9:00 a.m. in charge of the Rev. Fr. E.F. Gaule. Burial will be in the Evergreen cemetery.

Mr. NADY was born in Belfast (sic.), France, July 17, 1858, and was brought to this country when he was six weeks old. Since that time he has resided in Jefferson county. In his early days he was importer of Percheron horses.

In 1891 he married Etta Jane MOOR (sic. MOORE), and he will be laid to rest on the 44th anniversary of their wedding date, October 29.

His wife preceded him in death in 1908. Two children also preceded him in death, Louis Glenn in 1894, and Marie in 1902. Surviving are two children, Leo of Fairfield and Miss Leona of Chicago, Ill. He also leaves one sister Mrs. Julia PEQUIGNOT, and a brother X. NADY both of near Fairfield; two grandsons and one granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.

The body was taken to the Hoskins funeral home in this city.

Miss Leona NADY was here at the time of the father's death. Mrs. PEQUIGNOT was at the home of her son in Waterloo."
