SHERRELL, Martha Delores -- Martha Delores SHERRELL, 68, of Fairfield, died Sunday, July 26, 2009, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.

The body has been cremated.

A memorial visitation, with the family, is from 3-5 p.m. today at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield. A gathering of friends will follow at the Veterans of Foreign Wars post in Fairfield.

Memorials may be made to V.F.W. or Eagles Club. Cards and memorials may be sent to PO Box 2085, Fairfield 52556.

Mrs. SHERRELL was born April 28, 1941, in Blanchard, Okla., the daughter of William David and Onetha B. BASSINGER SMITH.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include one daughter, Pamela J. ROBERTSON of Holloway, Ohio; and two grandchildren, Lewis BROWN and Shawn BROWN, both of Oklahoma.
