MORROW, Helen Colleen -- Helen Colleen MORROW, 81, formerly of Fairfield, died from cancer Sunday, April 26, 2009, at Mercy Hospital in Johnston.

A memorial service will be at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Ankeny Funeral Home.

Mrs. MORROW was born Nov. 25, 1927, in Winterset.

Mrs. MORROW graduated from Winterset High School and lived in Winterset through her early 20s. She later lived in Michigan and eventually moved back to Iowa to raise her family. She was employed at the Fairfield Glove Company and Hallmark Store in Fairfield for many years.

Mrs. MORROW enjoyed raising horses on her acreage.

Survivors include two daughters, Kimberly S. BROWN and Michelle L. RUSHING of Johnston; two grandchildren; one brother, Duane RINARD of Winterset; one sister, Beverly McDONALD of Winterset; and two stepdaughters, Marilyn DORSA of New York and Linda KARR of Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her late husband, Howard R. MORROW and her first husband, Harold L. BROWN.
