ELLIS, Diana L. -- Diana L. ELLIS, 43, formerly of Fairfield, died today, Monday, April 6, 2009, at Muscatine Care Center in Muscatine.

Following the family's wishes, the body will be cremated.

A memorial service in the care of Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield is pending.

ELLIS, Diana Lynn -- Diana Lynn ELLIS, 43, formerly of Fairfield, died Monday, April 6, 2009, at Muscatine Care Center in Muscatine.

A celebration of life service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church in Fairfield.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the family at 2086 Libertyville Road, Fairfield 52556.

Behner Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.

Ms. ELLIS was born Nov. 13, 1965, in Corning, the daughter of David C. and C. Louise WILSON ELLIS.

Ms. ELLIS graduated from Faith Christian Academy in 1984.

Ms. ELLIS was diagnosed with epilepsy at age 8 and suffered from partially controlled seizure activity all her life. She was unable to find gainful employment and resided at several group homes. She moved to Muscatine Care Center in 2004 for 24-hour monitored care. In 2006, she was diagnosed with liver cancer.

Ms. ELLIS enjoyed participating in activities offered by the care center and enjoyed being the youngest person there.

Survivors include her parents; one sister, Susan JUHL of Springville, Ind.; and her paternal grandmother.
