STULL, N. L. 'Jim' -- N. L. "Jim" STULL, 87, formerly of Libertyville and Fairfield, died Monday, Jan. 12, 2009, at Crestridge Nursing Home in Maquoketa.

Arrangements are pending at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.

STULL, N. L. 'Jim' -- N. L. "Jim" STULL, 87, formerly of Libertyville and Fairfield, died Monday, Jan. 12, 2009, at Crestridge Nursing Home in Maquoketa.

A service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Linda Renken officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield, with military rites by Iowa Army National Guard.

Open visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the family present from 4-6 p.m.

Gifts to a memorial, which will be designated at a later time, may be left at the funeral home or may be mailed to the family at 2401 Canyon St., SW, Cedar Rapids 52404.

Mr. STULL was born March 18, 1921, in Livonia, Mo. He married Mary J. CARMICHAEL June 1, 1946, in Fairfield.

Mr. STULL graduated from Douds High School in 1940. He lived most of his life in Jefferson County. He farmed and worked as a welder at Louden Crane and Monorail in Fairfield.

Mr. STULL served in the United States Navy Air Corps during World War II.

Survivors include his wife of Cedar Rapids; one daughter, Cheryl SNAKENBERG and husband Phillip of Loveland, Colo.; two sons, Dennis STULL and wife Julie of Cedar Rapids and David "Steve" STULL and wife Angie of Colorado Springs, Colo.; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Velma and Ira MORRIS; one brother, Ira MORRIS Jr.; and one sister, Ruth ALLENDER.
