Albert Edward STANLEY, 79, retired farmer, died this morning at University Hospital in Iowa City. Last rites Thurs. in Richland. Burial in Packwood Cemetery. Born Feb. 8, 1881, in Decatur County, Iowa, son of Albert and Rebecca COX STANLEY. Married Eva LINDSAY Dec. 23, 1901, Decatur County, Iowa. She died June 17, 1941. In 1910 they moved to Jefferson County and farmed near Packwood. Parents of three children, two of whom are deceased. They were daughters, one who died in infancy, the other at age 10. A son, Leo STANLEY, Joliett, Ill., survives. Ten years ago STANLEY moved to Richland and on Aug. 24, 1954, married Corda ZIMMERMAN. The marriage took place in Chariton. She survives, also two sisters, Mrs. Lannie DOWNEY, Hedrick, and Mrs. Grace HIGDON, Lamoni; four grandchildren and a foster grandchild. Also survived by a foster daughter Mrs. John RYNERSON, Lombard, Ill., the former Vera HIXSON.
