Mrs. G. L. (Matilda Ann WEBB) SMITH died at her home in Packwood yesterday evening age 69. Married in Dec., 1876 (sic - 1875?). Celebrated golden wedding last December. Having no children of their own, they took three to raise. They are Blanche and Herman SAMTCG (?) and Ed SCHAFFER, all of whom survive. Besides the husband and foster children, she is survived by her mother, Mrs. Ellen WEBB of Packwood and three sisters and four brothers: Mrs. Nida MOWERY of Hedrick, Mrs. Joe NELSON of Linby, and Martha of Packwood, James of Packwood, Arthur, John and Robert all of Missouri....
