S. B. ROMACK, 71, who has lived on the same farm 2½ miles west of Packwood for 60 years, died this morning at the Ottumwa Hospital. Four brothers of this family, who have never married, have lived together on this farm for many years. One brother, Elijah, died three years ago, and there are two brothers who survive: George ROMACK of Packwood and Frank ROMACK of Nebraska. Only last spring the brothers moved into Packwood and then rented their farm to William Mills.

Obit. S. B. ROMACK, son of Thomas and Eliza (BLACK) ROMACK, born Mar. 19, 1857, four miles west of Packwood, died June 22, 1923, at Ottumwa Hospital. Resident of Packwood community. He leaves two brothers, Frank of Aurora, Neb., and George of Packwood. His elder brother Elijah preceded him. The large audience taxed the capacity of the new Methodist Church. Burial in Packwood Cemetery.
