DEATH OF MOTHER PACKWOOD, Mar. 11. Melinda (sic - Malinda), beloved wife of Sam'l PACKWOOD. Her maiden name was GOSS, and she was born June 30, 1827, in Clarke Co., Ind. Feb. 15, 1844, she was married to Samuel PACKWOOD, who is still living. In 1876 they moved to Jefferson County. Four children: Lake, eldest son, at New Port, Iowa; Marion now lives in Packwood, and Bert, the youngest son, a practicing physician of Batavia. Her daughter, Mrs. SMITH, of Williamsport, Mo. Christian Church.
