LINBY. Mrs. I. B. NELSON, 69, died today Keokuk County Hospital in Sigourney. Stroke Apr. 25. Campbell Funeral Chapel in Batavia. Burial in Packwood Cemetery. The former Julia Bell (sic) STARR, born Nov. 26, 1886, at Pocahontas, daughter of Marion F. and Suzanna CALLIHAN STARR; Married Isaac Berna NELSON Dec. 21, 1910, at Pocahontas. They moved to Jefferson County in 1924 and were residents of Linby for the past 10 years. Member Packwood Christian Church and Fairfield Rebekah Lodge No. 96. Survived by husband and children: Mrs. Clarence MITCHELL, Packwood; Arnold NELSON and Mrs. Merle DECKER, Fairfield; Mrs. Woodrow BRIGGS, Ottumwa; Mrs. Edgar GRAVEN, Portland, Ore.; and Mrs. Marvin PERRY, Waterloo. A daughter, Mrs. Russel LATHROP, died in 1944, and a grandson Ronnie LATHROP has made his home with Mr. and Mrs. NELSON since that time; 19 grandchildren and two brothers, Ralph STARR, Mountain Lake, Minn., and Albert STARR, Burbank, Calif.
