Fred D. NELSON, 58, died at Ollie Sale Barn. Widely known SE Iowa livestock buyer. Heart attack. Born Aug. 10, 1900, near Cambridge, Ill., son of the late John and Jennie NELSON; married Mrs. Faye BRAGG who died several years ago. He was later married to Pansy DUSENBERRY (?) on Feb. 12, 1946, (in Fairfield); she survives.... Also survived by a stepson, Coleman BRAGG, Packwood; five brothers and five sisters: George NELSON, Fairfield, Cecil H. NELSON, Batavia; James NELSON, Ollie; William and Chester NELSON, both of Cambridge; Mrs. Carl KETCHAM and Mrs. Henry SPARKS, both of Fairfield; Mrs. Lloyd LIGGETT, Farson; Mrs. Marion STERNER, Agency; and Mrs. Glen SCARBOROUGH, Pleasant Plain. Preceded by his first wife, his parents, and an infant sister. Fremont Funeral Home. Burial at Packwood.
