Obit. John E. MURPHY, known as Tim, died Wed., Aug. 5, age 37. Born in Packwood. World War veteran. Enlisted June, 1917; married Grace MOORMAN June 17, 1919. Leaves wife and two daughters Winifred and Henrietta, one brother Harvey MURPHY, Newark, N.J.; two sisters, Mrs. Ralph FLEENER, Ottumwa, and Mrs. Winnie KOSTER, Davenport, stepmother Mrs. Anna MURPHY. Burial at Packwood.
