Mrs. Ruth LINDER MOWERY, 59, died at Jefferson County Hospital 11:30 p.m. Wed. Family home is at 606 Jackson where they had lived since 1960. She had been a resident of Jefferson County most of her life. Daughter of James A. and Clarinda STEELE LINDER; married Aug. 31, 1925, to Averel Cloyce MOWERY who survives. Also survived by children: Mrs. Donna Mae DANNAY, Rock Island, Ill.; Robert J. MOWERY, Moline, Ill.; Roy E. MOWERY, Milan, Ill.; Earl C. MOWERY, Rock Island; and 20 grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Mrs. Maggie BROWN, Packwood; Jesse LINDER, Moline; Mrs. Sarah FATHKE, Wagner, S.D.; Mrs. Mary SMITH, Bloomfield; Mrs. Alice SHERIDAN, Phoenix; Mrs. Wanda McNEIL, Des Moines; Mrs. Nellie MONROE, Honea Path, S.C. Preceded in death by one son and two sisters. (The son was Charles F. MOWERY 1928-1954, bur. Evergreen.)
