Edwin Ambrose MILLER died suddenly Thursday apparently of apoplexy. Born Hamilton Co., Ohio, Mar. 13, 1844. Parents came to Iowa when he was 3 years old. settling near Danville, Iowa. He also served in Civil War and at its close married Miss Lou J. SNYDER who with their only child F. W. MILLER of Mt. Pleasant survives. He came to Packwood in 1894 as owner of two grain elevators. Served as Mayor several terms. At time of death President of Farmers Savings Bank of Packwood. Burial in Packwood Cemetery.
