Wm. Riley McVEY, resident of Iowa since 1836, died at his home in Polk Township the 3d inst. age 68. Came to this county in 1869. His wife, formerly Eliza A. RUSSELL, to whom he was married in 1868, survives, also seven children. Good man and citizen. Wide acquaintance in orthern Jefferson County.
