Mrs. C. M. McCHESNEY, 87, resident of Jefferson County since 1890, died at Jefferson County Hospital this morning. Made her home the past four years with daughter and son in law, Mr. and Mrs. Keith BALDWIN, Packwood. Burial in Packwood Cemetery. Flora Ellen McCHESNEY born Aug. 19, 1861, in Illinois, daughter of James and Amanda HOLLENBECK BENNINGTON; married Aug. 28, 1880, to C. M. McCHESNEY who died Jan. 13, 1921. Survived by one son Roy of Libertyville, three daughters: Mrs. Lena BARRON, Ames; Mrs. Carrie DICKINSON, Brighton; Mrs. Blanche BALDWIN, Packwood; 7 grandchildren; 11 greatgrandchildren; one brother, Frank BENNINGTON, Ruthland, Ill.; two sisters, Mrs. Mary HAYDEN. Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Ida BURNHAM, Garner, Iowa. She was preceded in death by son Cullom who died June 27, 1943, and two daughters in infancy.
