Mrs. B. T. LUTES, well known resident of the Packwood community, died this morning at Jefferson County Hospital. Stroke last Tuesday. Burial in Packwood Cemetery. Edith S. LUTES, 79, born Dec. 27, 1870, at Winfield, daughter of the late Edward and Mary CONNER SANDERS; married on Feb. 27, 1895, to B. T. LUTES at Lincoln, Neb. The couple moved to Packwood 36 years ago. Member OES at Richland and Methodist Church, Packwood. Survived by husband, two sons, Frank, Shelbyville, Ind., and Hoyt LUTES of Fairfield; a daughter Pauline LUTES of Cincinnati.
