RICHLAND. Mrs. Mabel LEMMING, 78, former Packwood resident, died Fri. at Jefferson County Hospital. Gould Funeral Home in Richland. Burial in Packwood Cemetery. Born July 7, 1891, near Ollie, daughter of F.J. and Dorothy HOBSON BARNES; married Sept. 10, 1919, Albert C. LEMMING; he died in 1949. Survived by one son, Floyd LEMMING, Winthrop; three grandchildren and sister and brothers: Mrs. Meta MYERS, Cedar Rapids; Doyle BARNES, Fairfield; and Hibbard BARNES, Dunbar, Wis. Preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters. She was a member of the Linby Baptist Church.

Mrs. LEMMING, 78, dies on Friday.

RICHLAND - Mrs. Mabel LEMMING, 78, of Richland, formerly of Packwood, died Friday evening in the Jefferson County Hospital where she had been a patient for about a month. She had resided in a rest home at Richland the past four and a half years.

Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. in the Gould Funeral Home in Richland with the Rev. Merle Green officiating. Burial will be in Packwood Cemetery.

Mrs. LEMMING was born at Ioka, west of Ollie, July 7, 1891, a daughter of F. J. and Dorothy HOBSON BARNES. She married Albert C. LEMMING Sept. 10 1919. He died September 1949 (sic - Nov. 1, 1949).

She was a member of the Linby Baptist Church and had spent her entire life in the area.

Survivors include a son, Floyd LEMMING of Winthrop, three grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Meta MYERS of Cedar Rapids; two brothers, Doyle BARNES of Fairfield and Hibbard BARNES of Dunbar, Wis.
