Mrs. Rebecca HODSON, past 80, died Tues. at home of her daughter, Mrs. Aubrey BARNETT s.e. of Fairfield. Had lived in Packwood for a number of years with her son Geo. Kelley. Dudgeon Funeral Home in Fairfield. Burial in Packwood Cemetery.

Obit. MRS. JAMES HODSON. Rebecca KELLY, born Mar. 8, 1854, at Brownsville, Pa., daughter of Katherine and William KELLY, came with parents to Jefferson County July 1854, and settled near Four Corners. Married William ROBERTS May 2, 1877, left a widow in 1882. Married James HODSON Aug. 17, 1891; he died Mar. 12, 1893. Mother of three children: George and Ivrin ROBERTS and Leona BARNETT all of Jefferson County. Made her home in Packwood with son George. Taken to her daughter's home near Fairfield where she died Jan. 14. Survived by one sister, Mrs. Eva TURNER, Burlington; two stepdaughters, Mrs. James SHAFER, Brighton, and Mrs. Anna HODSON, Pleasant Plain.
