Mrs. Lizzie HINTZ KNESS, 84, long time resident of Packwood, died at her home Sunday. Burial in Packwood Cemetery. Lizzie KNESS, born Feb. 15, 1864, in Jefferson County, Iowa, daughter of the late Frederick and Barbara ZEIGLER HINTZ who had come to this country from Germany. Lived on a farm ½ mile south of Packwood and came to Packwood six years ago. Her niece, Mrs. Nellie McVEY made her home with her. Survived by several nieces and nephews.
