PACKWOOD. E. A. HEALD, 75, well known farmer, died last night. Stroke. Home southeast of Packwood. Lifelong resident of Jefferson County, born on a farm near Packwood Feb. 17, 1878, son of Abner and Martha ESTES HEALD; married Mathilde OLSON of Eau Claire, Wis., Sept. 15, 1920. Member Packwood Christian Church. Farmer all his life. Former president of Packwood school board. Survived by wife and children: Mrs. Radford SMALL, Libertyville; Robert E. HEALD, Packwood, and Mrs. Eugene SIMS, Fairfield; five grandchildren and two sisters: Mrs. Elizabeth HEATON and Mrs. Emmett HADLEY both of Fairfield. Hoskins Funeral Home in Fairfield. Burial at Packwood.
