PACKWOOD. James R. DAVIS, 80, retired Packwood farmer, died 4:25 a.m. today at the Keokuk County Hospital in Sigourney. Behner Funeral Home. Burial will be in Packwood Cemetery. Had been a resident of the Packwood Community for 50 years. Born June 29, 1890, in Camden Co., Mo., son of William and Christina TRAW DAVIS. Married to Ada D. POPE Feb. 12, 1910; she died Nov. 15, 1968. Member Christian Church. Survived by one son, Homer W. DAVIS, Packwood; one daughter, Mrs. Mabel GARBER, Phoenix, Ariz.; four grandchildren and eight greatgrandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Laura POLLY, Canon City, Colorado.
