PACKWOOD. Mrs. James R. DAVIS, 74, resident of the Packwood community for 48 years, died Fri. St. Joseph Hospital in Ottumwa. Behner Funeral Home. Burial in Packwood Cemetery. The former Ada D. POPE, born Jan. 1, 1894, in Camden Co., Mo., daughter of Samuel A. and Eva CARNES POPE; married James R. DAVIS Feb. 12, 1910. Surviving are husband, one son Homer W. DAVIS, Packwood; and one daughter, Mrs. Mabel GARBER, Phoenix, Ariz.; four grandchildren; six greatgrandchildren; brothers and sisters: William POPE, Kansas City, Kan.; Leonard POPE, Altoona; Mrs. Zona DAVIS, Packwood; and Mrs. Martha MILLHOUSE, Whittier, Calif. Member Packwood Christian Church.
