Bill Gene FRANKLIN

Bill Gene FRANKLIN, 51, of Fairfield, died Friday, Dec. 5, 2008, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

A service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. B.B. Rail officiating. Burial will be at Fell Cemetery near Libertyville.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

A memorial fund has been established. Memorials may be sent to 901 W. Stone Ave., Fairfield 52556.

Mr. FRANKLIN was born Nov. 20, 1957, in Williamsville, Mo., the son of Perry and Helen HARDIN FRANKLIN. He married Debra S. MANLEY June 16, 1985, in Monmouth, Ill.

Mr. FRANKLIN was a lifelong resident of Fairfield. He was a self-employed contractor for more than 25 years.

He attended Living Stones Fellowship Church.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Loran P. and William A. FRANKLIN, both of Fairfield; and two sisters, Retha BUSH of Fairfield and Virginia ENGLAND of Galesburg, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Lockie GILBREATH.
