Joseph E. BUCHANAN, 66, Van Buren County farmer, died last night; born Oct. 19, 1882, Glade Springs, Va., son of the late David and Mary BUCHANAN. Came to Iowa at age 21. Burial in Packwood Cemetery. Married Drusilla DAVIS Feb. 3, 1909, at Farson, Iowa. Survived by wife and two daughters, Mrs. Merle PAXSON, Packwood, and Mrs. Vernon McCLURE, Ottumwa; two brothers, Will of Ottumwa, and Sam of Kewanee, Ill.; two sisters, Mrs. Lizzie SPEERS, Glade Springs, Va., and Mrs. Ella DAVIS, Norfolk, Va.
