FREEBORN, Pauline Lewis -- Pauline Lewis FREEBORN, 92, formerly of rural Floris, died at 3:12 a.m. today, Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008, at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield.
Arrangements are pending at Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds.

FREEBORN, E. Pauline PENROD LEWIS -- E. Pauline PENROD LEWIS FREEBORN, 92, of rural Floris, died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008, at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield.
A service is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds, with the Rev. Doran Bollman officiating. Burial will be in Mount Gilead Cemetery in rural Floris.
Open visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, where family will be present from 5-7 p.m.
Mrs. FREEBORN was born July 5, 1916, in Davis County, the daughter of Arthur and Maude BOLLMAN PENROD. She married Glenn W. LEWIS Dec. 21, 1935, in Davis County. He died Aug. 2, 1974. She later married Gene FREEBORN, and they divorced.
Mrs. FREEBORN graduated from Bloomfield High School and later taught at Oakhill School in Davis County.
She was a member of Bethel Free Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday school and Bible school classes.
She enjoyed farm life, raising Angus cattle and chickens, gardening, cooking and baking.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Lou BROWN of Milton and Donna LEWIS of Troy; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Paul and Bill PENROD; and one infant granddaughter.
