BALES, Walter Daniel -- Walter Daniel BALES died at his home in Linby yesterday. Born Mar. 26, 1888, in Keokuk County, son of Nathan and Cynthia BARKER BALES; married Dec. 23, 1922, Mabel BARRON who survives. Also survived by a sister Mrs. Pearl SUSTMAN of Packwood and a brother Harvey BALES of Council Bluffs. Twenty years a maintenance man for the Milwaukee RR and lived at Packwood and Linby. Burial in Packwood Cemetery.
