MILER, Mildred Lucille -- Mildred Lucille MILLER, 100, formerly of Fairfield, died Sunday, Nov. 9, 2008, at Parkview Home in Wayland.
A funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Faith Christian Outreach Center in Mount Pleasant, with the Rev. Gary Van Nyhuis officiating. Interment will be in Winfield-Scott Township Cemetery in Winfield.
Open visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Mrs. MILLER was born June 5, 1908, in Shenandoah, the daughter of Charles Edwin and Minerva Roseta SMITH RIPLEY. She married Ira "Buzz" MILLER July 17, 1926, in Greenfield. He died March 24, 1976.
Mrs. MILLER graduated from Stuart High School in Stuart. She was employed as a clerk for 25 years at Martha Brown Ltd. in Fairfield, where the family moved in 1962.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Fairfield, and her many memberships included the Maxine Bates Circle, two bridge clubs and Richwood Willing Workers. She was a 60-year member of TTT and Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include three children, Verlee MILLER of Wayland, Beverly ROYER of Winfield and R. Craig MILLER and wife Gail of Fairfield; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Kenneth; three sisters, Lenora McPHERSON, Helen RATLIFF and Virginia BUNCE; and one brother, Clarence RIPLEY.
